I have to be honest - at first glance of this sketch, my first thought was "NO WAY".  The circles were freaking me out a little - such a pain to cut at times.  Anyway, I decided to dive in anyway and 'interpret' it a little differently and I actually quite like how it turned out.

Just goes to show - even the most daunting of sketches can be workable if you just make them your own!!

Swing Time

Christmas vacation is just about over.  It's back to the daily grind of school and work tomorrow!!!  I am happy though that I scrapped my heart out these past 2 weeks!!!

Who is the Masked Beauty?

I actually took a little time on the weekend to do some scrapping!  It was pretty awesome!!

I decided to play along with the August Crafty Challenge over at the Two Scrapbook Friends forum to use paint on a layout.  Well, it gave me a good reason to pull out one of my TCW templates that never seem to see use.  Then, I went crazy and pulled out some Crackle Paint that hasn't been out of the drawer in FOREVER!!!

Happy birthday Keels!!

Today is my niece's 9th birthday!  I cannot believe how quickly she is growing up!

Keely is a fabulous kid - smart, funny, sweet, crazy!!  She is also Maya's BFF as I am told repeatedly.  They talk to each other on the phone constantly!!
