Here's my last challenge from the Two Scrapbook Friends crop.  It was a great kickstart to my mojo and I have been getting lots done!  So pleased about that!!  They had 12 challenge and I was able to complete each of them!  Gotta love summer holidays!!

Anyway, for the last one, Jayne challenged us to create a card using gold, silver or bronze.  I decided to pull out my thanks2you set from The Stamps of Life.  This picture does not do the image justice.  I embossed it in silver and it looks way better in real life!!

I'm back!!!

Okay so it seems my computer issues have been sorted out!  I contracted the S.M.A.R.T. Check virus and it is a nasty little bugger!!  Good news is that I managed to save all of my pictures before hubby had to wipe everything out and I started again!

So, while on my little hiatus, we had my Dad's birthday (July 6th) so I must dedicate this post to him.

Happy birthday to the very best Daddy & Papa in all the world!!!

Happy Birthday Rissa Roo!!

Okay, so today is almost done but I am getting this in under the wire.  Today is the 5th birthday of my sweet niece Marissa!  Together with Maya, they are the M&Ms.  These two are fabulous cousins and friends!  I guess that's because there is only 9 days age difference between them.

Ruby Roo is the sweetest and funniest girl!  I love her!!  I love her especially when she is singing Ruby Tuesday to me!

And now, here is the reason why this post is so late today.  I bought a new shelf the other day in order to get my scrappy space organized.  (long story with the shelf.  NOT FUN to put together!!!)  Anyway, I spent the day neck-deep in scrappy goodness - cleaning, purging & organizing!!  It feels good and I really hope I can keep it this way!  Looking at these pictures I actually have a table.  It has been a LONG time since I have seen more than about 12 inches square of it.

And the shelf that caused major hassle but is so very handy! 

And my baby girl who insisted on being in the picture!!

Happy birthday Jim!

Today is my big brother's birthday!  I don't see him as much as I would like but he is a pretty good big brother.  He was quite the protector back in our high school days!!  Now, he is also a pretty awesome Uncle.  Maya loves seeing him since he always has time to play with the kids and toss them around a little.

Happy birthday Jim!!  We love you!!

Here is the card I made using my brand new Boy Basics: Simple Circles stamps and Simple Circles Border Die from Papertrey Ink!  And the yummy paper is from the new MME Lime Twist collection.  The sentiment circle is made using stamps from The Stamps of Life. 

And I had to take a picture of the back.  It isn't a very good picture because I took it in the car.  I hadn't noticed what Maya drew on the back but when I saw it I knew I needed a picture.  I love how she drew herself and Uncle Jim holding hands and she even included his goatee.  Tell me that is not fabulous?!?!

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope all of the moms out there are enjoying their special day!  And I hope all of those ladies who wish to be moms will get to celebrate this day next year!  Being a Mom is one of the most incredible things ever and I really feel for anyone who wants it but isn't able to experience it!  The day we had Maya changed our lives forever and I am so incredibly blessed for it!!!

And just because it is Mother's Day and I love her and she is adorable, I am going to show a picture of my baby girl.  Doesn't she look so pretty and grownup?!?!

Okay, now on to scrappiness....

Easter fun!!

Happy Easter everyone!!  I hope the Bunny was good to you!!

We have been enjoying a nice long weekend around here.  Visiting with family and just taking it easy.  It is so fabulous!!

Yesterday we spent some time with my mother-in-law but before going Maya made this card for her.  We pulled out last year's Easter set from The Stamps of Life (eggs4Easter)

And I just had to show the inside too because I love her drawings!!

Last weekend Maya was invited to a birthday party for another friend at school. It was a bit of a miserable experience since my girl was on the verge of getting sick and was way whiny and clingy. I think she did manage to have a little bit of fun at least!!

Anyway, here is the card I put together for her friend Nessa. I used the brand new thanks4oneyear stamp set I recieved in the mail from The Stamps of Life. This is a special set given to members after 12 months in the club. It's a great set and this is an awesome club to be a part of it. Fabulous stamps!!

Maya's Thank Yous
