Impromptu Photo Shoot

Hey all!!!  It's been a bit since I posted here but I have a very good reason!  My girl and I just got back from a week at the cottage with friends and it was a pretty amazing time.  It was nice to disconnect from the world.

Anyway, I am back to share a layout.  Here is a double spread of some pictures taken in the beautiful Stratford park last summer.

First Day & Maya's new do!

Hello everyone out there!  The weekend has just about ended and I thought I would finish it off by posting a layout.

And before I go, a little update from around here.  It was a big weekend for Maya.  She has been asking for months to get her hair all chopped off.  At first I was SO against it but decided to let her do it since she seemed very sure.  It's only hair - it'll grow back, right?!?!

Anyway, Saturday was the long-awaited day!  Here she is with her new super short do!  She LOVES it!!  She had such a goofy smile while it was being cut!  (Which was quite the process with all of her hair, by the way!  Took almost THREE hours!!)

Snow Day Ritual

I'm back this Monday morning with a layout.  I thought I would share this one since there was snow flying around yesterday.  IN MAY!?!?!!  Crazy!  Thankfully just a bit of it flying around here - nothing significant.  (Although I am sure my girl would have LOVED another snow day!!)

I was lucky to get to spend the weekend with a couple of friends getting our scrap on!  That means some new pages to share soon!  I'm still working my way through older collections and have to say that it was very satisfying this weekend to kill a few of those collections and see my stash get slightly smaller.

Seeing double....

Am I the only who screws up all the time and prints pictures more than once??  And am I the only one who then scraps those pictures more than once too??  Oh, and just for the sake of honesty - this is not intended.  I totally didn't realize I scrapped the very same picture two times (and I have done this more than once).  Oy!  So frustrating though to scrap the same picture two times when I have a very large stack of pictures still to be scrapped!!  Sometimes I just leave it and sometimes if I can make it work I just glue a new picture down on one of the pages.  Not sure what will happen here yet though but I wanted to share in hopes that others out there can share this with me.
