Each month at
Scrapping Turtle, the Design Team showcases something different as Product of the Month. For the month of October, the chosen product is Ranger Crackle Paint. I have to say that I am loving this stuff. I have used it before but usually I just slap it and on and leave it be. Well, thanks to
Jennifer McGuire and her Thinking Inking series I have picked up a few more techniques! It is so simple to use and looks awesome!!
First up is my card. I smeared some of the 'antique linen' Crackle Paint on cardstock and then once dry I went in with my 'walnut stain' Distress Ink to darken up the crackle. Once it was all dry I used my QK to cut out the heart ribbon slide.

This card is making its' way to Diana as a great big Thank You for sending me some goodies!! Check out her store - Magnolia-licious - for all of your Tilda & Edwin needs!
I was having so much fun that I decided to do a layout as well. I painted a raw chipboard flourish with 'fired brick' Crackle Paint and once dry I again used my 'walnut stain' Distress Ink to enhance the crackle.
