Think Pink

Things are still quite busy with me.  I am working a second job that does not leave me much time for scrapping!  :(

I did however find a layout that I had not posted it yet so thought I would share.

I used this sketch by Amanda from over at the Two Scrapbook Friends forum.

And my take on it using a photo from Crop for the Cure a couple of years ago....

Supplies:
Everday Eclectic by Echo Park
Raspberry Fizz buttons by Papertrey Ink
embrodiery floss by Bazzill

And speaking of CFTC, I posted this on that blog but also wanted to share it here....

It was very difficult to come to the decision not to run this event this year but it is the best one for our family right now.  I am most definitely going to miss it!

We are saddened to report that there will not be a Crop for the Cure event this year.  We have been overwhelmed with all of the support in the past and cannot thank everyone who has been involved enough!!

I guess sometimes life takes us in other directions and hosting this day is not in the cards for our family this year.  At this point, we are not sure what the future holds beyond 2013.

Again, we say thank you to all of the support we have received through the years!  We have been blessed to have had such successful events for the past several years.

Thank you for helping us to raise funds and awareness in the fight against breast cancer!!

  5. This is so adorable. I am sorry your CFAC is not a go this year, but you have to know what a difference you made in the time you have done it and be proud to be a part of something so important.
I hear you on the second job, ughhh I have had a second job for 18 years now and I am just so over it, but it's a necessary evil in today's world. Make time for what you love!
