Ranger Crackle Paint

Each month at Scrapping Turtle, the Design Team showcases something different as Product of the Month. For the month of October, the chosen product is Ranger Crackle Paint. I have to say that I am loving this stuff. I have used it before but usually I just slap it and on and leave it be. Well, thanks to Jennifer McGuire and her Thinking Inking series I have picked up a few more techniques! It is so simple to use and looks awesome!!

First up is my card. I smeared some of the 'antique linen' Crackle Paint on cardstock and then once dry I went in with my 'walnut stain' Distress Ink to darken up the crackle. Once it was all dry I used my QK to cut out the heart ribbon slide.

And a close-up...

This card is making its' way to Diana as a great big Thank You for sending me some goodies!! Check out her store - Magnolia-licious - for all of your Tilda & Edwin needs!

I was having so much fun that I decided to do a layout as well. I painted a raw chipboard flourish with 'fired brick' Crackle Paint and once dry I again used my 'walnut stain' Distress Ink to enhance the crackle.

And a close-up....

Check out the Turtle blog to see what the rest of the team has come up with!!
