Plans are officially underway!! I am in the process now of contacting various vendors (both new and those who supported us last year) and already I am receiving positive response!! I thought I would use my blog as a way to keep people up-to-date with news about the Crop.
Just a reminder that proceeds from the event will benefit Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and will be raised in sponsorship of our Run for the Cure team. This is the fifth year our team, Nan’s Boobsters, has participated in the Run for the Cure and we do so in memory of Ila Rutledge (our beloved Nan).
Crop for the Cure will take place on Saturday June 7th from 9am until 4pm at the Listowel Kin Station. Tickets are $35 per person. Tickets include a free goodie bag (to the first 40 participants) and lunch. There will also be some goodies to munch on upon arrival!! Who knows - there may even be a Timmies run again this year so we can all get our caffeine fix!!!
Check out our website for more info!

**Sketch Challenge**
We will also be having a Sketch Challenge sponsored by Julie Bonner. Each participant who completes a layout based on the sketch will be entered into a random drawing for a prize. Layouts must be completed prior to drawing on-site at 3:30pm!!
**Albums for Cancer Patients**
We are going to ask our participants to create one or more layouts during the Crop to be added into albums to give to cancer patients at local hospitals. This is a great way for them to pass down and share their memories with their families OR if they like it is a great treasure for them to have to keep them company during their hospital stay. What we are asking is for people to make generic layouts (example - holidays, seasons, birthdays, family, etc.) where people can add their own pictures & journaling! We would love to fill as many albums as we can! On-site at the Crop we will have a table of new & gently used items you can choose from to help build your pages! If you would like to support us in this by donating supplies or if you are unable to make it to the Crop but would like to add some pages please let me know!! Thank you!
A great big thank you to all of our sponsors! Without your generosity, the Crop just wouldn't be the same!!
If you would like to support our event for this VERY worthy cause please feel free to email me at sponsorship@cropforthecure.ca
More then happy to help :) I'll get my thinking cap on to see if there is anything else I can do for you :)
