Happy birthday Baby Girl!

Yesterday was my sweet girl's birthday!!!  She's TEN!!!  I cannot believe it!  Double digits!  She is certainly growing up!  She is absolutely my most favourite girl in the world and I am so proud of the sweet, caring, talented, intelligent girl she is!!  Love you today and everyday Maya Moo!!

Normally, it is just Maya and I for her special day but this year it fell on a weekend so Daddy got to join in for the fun!  We started off with breakfast at McDonald's then had a quiet day at home so she could play her brand new WiiU!!  

And of course no birthday is complete without a candle to blow out!  My girl is not a cake fan so we stuck a candle in her brownie sundae instead!

Big Little Moments & birthday wishes

Happy Friday everyone!!!  The school year is here is coming to a close soon.  Next Thursday to be exact and I could not be happier.  Love my job but this has been a long, tough year and I am very much looking forward to some time to relax and recharge.  And make some fabulous memories too!!

Yesterday, was my niece's 12th birthday!  And, no, I did not miss it.  We celebrated today so I wanted to wait until afterwards to post.  ;)

Birthday catch-up

It's been too long since I have blogged.  Time is passing me by.  Doesn't help that I got a nasty July flu that I am just now getting over.

Anyway, I have a few birthdays that I didn't mark on here so I am going to throw them together in one post.

First up, my niece Bria.  She turned 11 a few weeks ago.  Cannot believe how grown up these kids are getting.

 And last but certainly not least.....my Daddy.  There are not enough words to tell how great this man is to me.  I am beyond proud to be his daughter.

And just a last little note to share a picture of my Momma & Daddy.  Today is their anniversary and it hurts my heart that she is not here for them to celebrate together.  Miss you Momma today and everyday.

My parents are a wonderful example of love and making things work.  They didn't always have it easy but they let love win and had many happy years together.  They really were each other's best friend.

My sister's birthday was on Friday.  I did not forget.  It has just been a crappy busy week and I didn't get a chance to post.  I couldn't let her day go by though without acknowledging it.

Have a very happy birthday!

Today is my baby sister's birthday and I can't let the day end without dedicating a post to her.  She is a pretty amazing sister and a pretty incredible woman!  She's had a very eventful year - some good (getting married) and some bad (losing our Mom and her own battle with cancer) but through it all she has been so strong and I couldn't be more proud of her!!
