High Hopes Challenge #8

So, I have decided to jump into this stamping & colouring & cardmaking craze. Here is my first effort using this cute little High Hopes stamp that I won as some blog candy a while back. It is my first attempt so be gentle!!


I made this for this week's High Hopes blog challenge to use buttons & brads on your card!! I coloured it using Derwent pencils & mineral spirits.

I think I like this cardmaking thing! I look forward to doing some more although I am pretty sure I am going to need to add to my stamp collection!!!
Here is another little project to share. I made this at my monthly QuicKutz Anonymous class at Scrapping Turtle. I can't take credit for it since it was Lori design but I did put it together and I think it is the cutest thing ever!!!!

    The QK project is adorable! I have been trying to figure out what to do with TX for advent and this may just be it!
