World Cardmaking Day Fundraiser

In celebration of this day, Scrapping Turtle located in St. Jacobs, Ontario is hosting a fundraising event. One of the fabulous Turtle staff, Lori, is going to be locked into the display window where she will be put to work making cards - LOTS of cards!! Why, you ask?!?! To raise money for KidsAbility. She is going to sit in there and make those cards until her fingers wanna fall off. The goal is 500 cards!! Let's do our part to help these ladies!! These handmade cards will be sold for only $2.75 each (that's WAY cheaper than a Hallmark card!) or 12 for $30! And let me tell you I have seen Lori's work and she ROCKS!! You will not be disappointed!! I know I will be placing an order.

Here is the official blurb from their newsletter.....

Stock up on cards for Christmas, Birthdays or those "just because" occassions. Proceeds will be going to local children's charity, KidsAbility, where we hope to aid in supporting local families! We hope to see you there on Saturday, October 4th from 10 AM to 6 PM to help in our effort to sell 500 cards for KidsAbility! Come support this worthy cause and help release Lori from her glassed-in cell.
Help us get a head start, pre-pledge an order of cards! Let us know how many and what type of cards (Birthday, Christmas, Thank You, etc.) you want. Call the store to place your order. 519-664-3951
