Thinking positive!

Last week was a tough one in this house with Pat losing his job. But, I am trying to push the stress back! Time to come back to my word for 2008 and enjoy life despite the craziness! I am focusing on the thought that things will work out! They have eased a bit. No good news in terms of his job or receiving his pay but he has received a few independent consulting jobs that will help tie us over until EI kicks in! Anyway, enough about that!!

Today I am going to try to get back to my scrapping. I didn't get any done this week! I failed miserably at proving to myself that I can both work and scrap during the week. Granted, this was a different kind of a week but still, I need to just do it! So, this coming week, that is my goal. At least one night I want to come home and scrap at least one layout. That shouldn't be that hard!! I say this now on Sunday though!! Today I am going to try to make up for my unproductive week and get some scrapping done!! I came across this new blog - 52 Sketches...52 Weeks! Really I came across it on Dea's blog but whatever?!?! I like the first sketch so I think I am going to tackle this one today. Then my goal is to follow along and see if I can do all of the sketches!!

I'm setting high goals for myself.....I don't know if I can do it but I am going to give it my best shot!! I am getting some extra incentive over at Turtle Soup. We have a club going on over there where we are encouraging each other to get a minimum of 2 layouts done each week. It's the Git R Dun Club!! This week was not so good for me but I did get 14 done the first week so I guess it is okay to take a week off now and then!!

Alright, I think that is probably enough ramblings from me. I think my mind was all over the place today so I apologize for the craziness that is this post. Sometimes, I think I should probably plan these posts rather than just typing what comes to my head but seriously, what is the fun in that?!?!
